My week in photos..

*A Pinterest project I started (and actually completed!) which involves freezing the wax out of a used candle to use the jar as a container
*makeup (including pink eyebrows!) done by Julie at MAC Cosmetics in Crabtree Valley Mall for a nice, artistic change

OOTD: Jury Duty

I had jury duty for the last day today. I wore a white 3/4 sleeve length tshirt, pencil skirt from Kohl's, shoes from the mall (I forgot what store)' and a House of Harlow necklace). The dress code was business casual and this is what I wore:

OOTD:bright pants

Love these pants that I got at Marshall's for $20. I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for trends, but the price for these was right on point. Sorry the pictures aren't of my whole outfit.

Walmart & Sally's haul

As the title implies, I went to Walmart and Sally's a few days ago and wanted to share what I got. The only product purchased at Walmart was the wax kit, so all other products listed were purchased at Sally's. These products are new for me, so let me know if you have used any of these or if you recommend any other products!

In no particular order...
-Ardell Brush-On Striplash Adhesive (I liked the fact that it is a clear lash adhesive that applies with a small brush, seems easier than a squeeze tube)
-Ardell fashion lashes in #105 (too dramatic for everyday, but perfect for weekends)
-Sally Hansen Hair Remover Wax Strip kit for body, legs, arms, and bikini (I like the first one I tried for eyebrows and lips, so I'm hoping this kit will not disappoint!)
-Pinceau Sable nail brush in Oval Sable #5 (I got this brush to clean the edges of my nails after I paint them, since a q-tip can be a little sloppy)
-Biotera Long and Healthy shampp (this shampoo claims to make hair longer and 6 times stronger..not sure if that can happen with this travel sized bottle but you never know!)
-China Glaze polish in 'Man Hunt' (from the new On Safari collection)
-Finger Paints polish in 'Avante Garde Green' (a green chameleon color with hints of yellow that my wonderful boyfriend picked out)
-Sally Girl polish in ...I couldn't find a name on it but it's a neon magenta/purple
-Sally Girl eyeshadow in 'Champagne' (looked like it had potential to be a good highlight color and I am always willing to try a cheaper alternative)
-Tool Structure wide tooth comb #502113

Yesterday, my mother in law got married. It was a cute, quaint ceremony with just the right amount of people. I thought I would share the pictures of the makeup I did to match the dress I wore.
